Thank you for choosing Donovan Lankford for your tattoo. My goal is to provide you with high-quality, custom artwork that you will love for a lifetime. This policy outlines the terms regarding refunds for deposits and services.

By booking an appointment with Donovan Lankford, you, the client, acknowledge and agree to the following terms.

 

1. Tattoo Deposits

 

To secure an appointment, a deposit is required. Please be aware of the following:

All deposits are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.

There are no exceptions to this policy. The deposit serves to protect my time and secure your commitment to the appointment. It covers the initial labor involved in the tattoo process, including but not limited to:

  • Consultation and communication time.

  • Research, drawing, and design preparation for your custom tattoo.

  • Reserving a significant block of time in my schedule, preventing other clients from booking.

Your deposit will be forfeited if you:

  • Cancel your appointment for any reason.

  • Fail to show up for your appointment (a "no-show").

  • Arrive more than 20 minutes late to your appointment without prior communication.

  • Fail to provide the required 72-hour notice to reschedule.

  • Decide not to get tattooed on the day of your appointment.

 

2. Completed Tattoo Services

 

No refunds will be issued for any tattoo service that has been completed.

Tattooing is a custom service-based art form, and you are paying for the artist's time, expertise, and the materials used for your session. The design, placement, and size of the tattoo are approved by you before the tattooing process begins. Once the service is complete, the sale is final.

 

3. Client Satisfaction & Touch-Ups

 

I am deeply committed to your satisfaction with the final piece of art.

While refunds are not offered, I do stand by the quality of my work. I typically offer one (1) complimentary touch-up session within the first 6 months of the tattoo healing, should any minor imperfections arise during the healing process.

  • Eligibility for a free touch-up is at my discretion. Tattoos that have healed poorly due to client negligence (e.g., picking, sun exposure, swimming, improper aftercare) will not be eligible for a free touch-up.

  • Tattoos on hands, feet, fingers, elbows, and knees are prone to fading and may not be eligible for a complimentary touch-up. This will be discussed during your consultation.
